Hi Hi There.
Our heroes are being hunted by a horde of enraged orcs who believe they own the area due to the presence of nearby mines with precious minerals. The only visible escape route is to cross a natural land bridge that spans a lake. if they manage to cross, it is possible that the orcs will stop pursuing them since they would be moving away from the territory of the mines. Therefore, to avoid capture, they must quickly cross the lake and perhaps defeat any nimble orcs that manage to catch up with them.
