*July 2023 Update! I've learnt a lot while making these maps, so I've gone back to my earliest work - Haephestus 3 - and remastered it using the source files. It now has a more conventional size (30"x20"), and improved pixel count. I've also added square and hex grids - enjoy! *
Have your players gone off course? Do you need some inspiration to kickstart their next mission? Then here’s a ready-made planet to drop in their way, which is intended for use with any Sci-Fi/Star Wars/Star Trek type roleplaying game.
This is a map of a small planet or moon, that could be a point of interest in a solar system, a mystery to be solved, or a setting for an ongoing plot.
This product includes the following variants, as full colour JPG files:
All maps supplied at VTT resolution (140dpi), 4200 by 2800 pixels.
There is also a non-Roll20 version of this product on DrivethruRPG, which contains both 140dpi and 300dpi versions of all maps (the latter being more suitable for printing), along with PDF data sheets and plot hooks that will assist a GM in making memorable encounters. You can find that product here:
DrivethruRPG Link: Strange New Worlds – Haephestus 3 (includes datasheets & plot hooks)
Note that the grids are intentionally faint, so they are not very obvious on the main product preview images above - I have added closeups for both Hex and Square so you can see the grid more easily.
Once purchased, this product will appear in your Marketplace Items on Roll20, and can be downloaded if desired. In-game, you can find the product in the Premium Assets tab of your Roll20 art library. From there, go to 'Marketplace Purchases', set the dropdown search filter to 'Maps, Tiles, Textures' and use the search box to locate the product. Alternatively, scroll down the list to find the correct item.
You can find my other Roll20 products by clicking on the link to my publisher profile above (next to where it says ‘Author’), or by clicking here.
I also sell on DrivethruRPG where you can find more of my products, some of which come with non-art content (for example PDFs and similar, which cannot be sold on Roll20 currently). This content includes planet information, plot hooks and 300dpi versions of the maps (suitable for printing).
Additionally, some of my DTRPG products are linked to Roll20 (detailed in specific products). You can also click on the Roll20 product category in my DTRPG store to see all the linked items. If you purchase one of these items, then the corresponding content unlocks in Roll20 automatically when you enter your Roll20 email address at checkout, and it will appear in your art library as described above.
