Swamp River

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Swamp River map release! This 40x40 swamp river map has a really fun twist to it. I've created versions of each color mood that includes the log bridge and a broken log bridge for some added fun! Swamps are dangerous, and when your players see a rickety, soggy, and moss-covered log as the only means to cross a river, they will think twice, and are right to do so! Maybe you let one or two cross safely before the log breaks into the murky river below. Who knows what is lurking beneath the surface of the muddy water?

I've created 8 different variants to help you set the perfect mood for your encounters. Each variant contains a version with and without the light bugs and also with intact and broken versions of the log bridge. The variants included in this pack are:

Variants

Dark Fairytale: This version has a playful yet creepy feel to it. Perfect for any dark fantasy themes. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, with & without fog and bug lights.
Bright: A brighter version of the map focusing on a sunny and vibrant feeling. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, and with & without bug lights.
Natural: A more earthy version of the map focusing on more natural colors of the mud and surrounding swamp. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, and with & without bug lights.
Gloom: This version focuses on toning down the map's colors and deepening the shadows. Perfect for any dark fantasy encounter! This variant comes with the broken log bridge, with & without fog and bug lights.
Overcast: A darker version of this map gives the feeling of thundering rain clouds above. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, with & without rain and bug lights.
Warm: This version is a good mix of light and warmth and focuses on the vibrancy of the colors used. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, and with & without bug lights.
Night: Night falls over the map as the moonlight reflects in the murky water. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, with & without fog and bug lights.
Verdant: For a more overgrown and wild feeling, this variant focuses on the lush greenery and vibrancy of the surrounding area. This variant comes with the broken log bridge, and with & without bug lights.
