"You swear that if you hear Old Bernard smacking his shackles against the black iron bars one more time, you'll go in there and kill him yourself. There it is; you hear one last "tat!" against the bars. you walk down the hall, around the corner, and just as you see the wing with his cell, you stop in your tracks for a moment. You rub your eye as your instinct tells you you have something lodged. In front of you is Old Bernard, but not only is he not in his cell, but he is quite...see-through. He hits the bars once more, and then disappears before your eyes. You walk further down towards his cell, and peer inside, to see the lifeless body of Old Bernard hanging from his bed sheets."
