Long ago, the ancient elves of this land had a powerful magical ability to communicate with the forest spirits and control the growth of the trees. They used their powers to create the massive forests that now cover the land, and the creatures that lived within them. The elves were so attuned to nature that they believed that the trees themselves spoke to them, revealing secrets and offering guidance.
As time passed, the elves withdrew from the world, leaving behind only ruins and legends. But the forests they had created remained, and became the defining feature of this land. The people who came to settle here learned to live in harmony with the woods, building their homes from the trees and using their resources to sustain their communities.
As the centuries passed, the people began to realize that there was a deep, mystical power that flowed through the forests and gave them life. They called this power the "sylvan reach," for it was said to reach out from the trees and touch every living thin. And so the land itself became known as Sylvanreach, in honor of the ancient elves who had created it and the mystical power that sustained it.
This pack contains 30 variations. There are 3 categories (colored, sepia and line art) and those all have their full maps, unlabelled and unmarked maps with and without the paper texture effect and ALL map has a framed version too.
The maps can be used on a 29x17 square grid.
The framed versions are 29x15.
Total size of the maps in pixels is 4060x2380 with 300 DPI.
