There are worse ways to make a living. It’s relaxing sitting back, pipe in mouth and watching them rocks. Big stone slabs, covered in runes, floating in the air, did I mention above a mystic pond? Got to hand it to those Ancients, they built big and built to last. No idea why they did it though. Why they made them in such remote places was confusing until I saw three wizards disagree on who had rights to the spring. Turned out none of them did but it made for a great show.
Shouldn’t be long before the next hardy adventurers or evil cultists arrive to fulfil some prophecy or perform another mystic rite. The loot left on their corpses more than covers the cost of keeping my pipe full.
This is our Menhir Spring map set, 19 maps, featuring runed menhirs floating above a spring (Runed Menhirs Floating Above Mystic Spring Deep in the Wilderness was too big a title). A great quest destination, Big Bad power source (shooting lightning is optional), archaeological site or just to confuse the PCs, these maps, are fun.
Variants include shrines, beach with rising tides, fey, frozen and inferno.
We hope you enjoy your adventures with these maps
