Shield Collection

Because defense is just as important as attack ....

... Some of these shields are variations on a theme, some are 2 states of the same shield.
Some are 'apparently' ordinary shields, some are new and some are old, others have potential to be magic defense or even offense/attack items.

Some are more suited to a fantasy setting, and some to a more science fiction setting.

I hope that you find a few interesting ones in the collection that you can sneak into your games in different ways as shields, as portable teleport stations, as a unique reward at the end of a difficult quest, or anything you can imagine.

I would love to hear what you do with them and what abilities you give them.
I have not written out descriptions or stats for them - So let your imagination go wild :-)
