Two hundred years ago, Jack the Giantkiller chopped down a magic beanstalk and a giant crashed to earth. The giant died instantly upon impact, and due to some magical effect, decayed at a rapid rate. Today only pieces of his skeleton remain. The decaying beanstalk and giant fertilized the earth, producing some of the richest farmland and pastures in the kingdom.
Jack himself officially took on the name “Giantkiller” and built himself a castle with the riches gained from his adventures. The family still retains the name “Giantkiller,” although the head of the family is now Lord Giantkiller, as they purchased a title from the king.
A small village grew up around the castle and the giant’s skeleton and was quickly dubbed “Giantsfall.” Giantsfall is primarily a farming village but they are also a noteworthy tourist destination, with visitors from across the kingdom traveling to see the remains of the giant and to listen to the magic harp play in the tavern.
The Giantsfall town map pack has gridded and non-gridded versions for day, night, and parchment.
