"You and four others stand at the precipice. The canyon is so wide on both sides that it doesn't even cross your mind to try jumping. 'Who cut the bridge? Seems like a stupid idea to me...' said the ragged Sellsword that you employed. And with no hesitation, you hear running from behind you with a jolly shout 'Well what are you guys waiting for!?'. Before you can tell what is happening, your friend leaps over the edge. 'You fool!' you shout as you reach out to try to grab his clothing, almost with hindsight. He drops over the edge, and as you dive to the edge to watch him fall to his doom, you realise he is not falling. He hit a seemingly invisible surface about 10 feet below. 'See? I told you it was ok'."
