"You smell it long before you see it. The blood; it seems both old and new. Never cleaned, this place is saturated, but why? As you walk between the jaws of this mysterious formation, you realise it must be a skull from...something. What you thought may have been a tree stump in the middle, you now realise is a bloody corpse, sat upright. Recently drained of it's life. There are several sets of footprints leading away from here, again, fresh. Before you can begin to track them, you hear a voice, and a tall Elf mage appears as if from nowhere as he speaks. 'Why do you interrupt our work?' he shouts, as you feel a dagger sink deep into your gut."
