I've had several ideas for this Island Shrine map. Drop the characters at one end of the island, and have them fight their way to the shrine. Or give them a map that must be followed to find the items that activate the shrine's ritual. Better yet, have them defend the island from invaders, hoping to protect the shrine until its magic has been completed. I'm sure you'll come up with numerous ideas for this map as well.
