Caves are made for exploring! With this series of modular cave tiles, you'll be able to put together sprawling cave networks that look natural and interesting! Each area will look distinct with its own unique mix of features like stalagmites and mushrooms!

This set focuses on tight, twisting tunnels, great for exploring and for close-in, claustrophobic combat encounters! Use the set on its own, or combine it with the other Terracotta Grotto sets* for maximum variety in your cave layouts!

Tips for use:
• Turn off the grid before placing the tiles to ensure that the aspect ratio isn't messed up by the grid-snapping.
• Once the tiles are placed, turn the grid back on and scale the tiles to the correct size. At the intended size, the full width of the tunnel including the side walls should be 2 grid squares. A crossroads tile should take up a 6x6 space, while a straight road might occupy 4x6. You can, of course, make the tunnels as wide or as narrow as you want.
• Planning your layout on some graph paper before placing the tiles will make it a little easier to quickly build a layout. When planning this way, each square would depict a tile containing either a straight line, a corner, a tee-junction, a crossroad or a dead-end.
