A collection of scattered settlements within a swampy delta region
Olchamarth grew into a map that could be used for a magical fantasy setting, but which has locations that might fit in a more futuristic setting too....
It is a huge poster sized map (about A1 if printed) covering a large area with several different sized villages and hamlets and numerous interesting locations to explore.
We have a ring of 5 giant floating globes of water circling a large standing stone, one of which may or may not be Aqua Regia and the rest may or may not be full of piranhas....
Then there is a burial bog area instead of a grave yard... a very very tall fallen tower from a previous era, Mesoamerican-type pyramids, a baba-yaga chicken-leg hut, a traveling circus, a dinosaur bone yard, a cenote, a tree-house hamlet, farms, ring-mound dwellings, a shipwreck-hermatage, .... and... and... and I will let you explore to find the rest - and imagine more ;-)
The buildings are in a range of different shapes and styles, giving the place just a bit of a ramshackle feeling, as well as making it look more like it has grown and changed through time with several different cultures living in the area.
The setting is essentially a warmer wetter climate, However, I have included a snowy winter version for those who want to use it in a cold climate.
