FIT FOR NONE BUT THE EMPEROR
Lovely gold-plated roofs accentuate a stone courtyard in the traditional style, a palace for the grandest of ancient emperors. This is a palace map suitable for most Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and other asian-inspired cities; it can be taken as a whole, but the map has been designed to be cleanly split in two if required. You might only need the lower area, which resembles a city; or perhaps the courtyard, if you want to isolate a fight in a single area.

VARIANT PALACES
This map comes with the following major variants:

Day, night, and stormy versions of all listed maps
Canal variants, with a river running south through the map, in case the courtyard isn't busy enough for you
Empty canal variants with no foliage, arguably more suitable for forgotten ruins if you're on an archaeological dig rather than exploring a populated city
A set of black-roofed phantasmagoric youkai palaces, filled with red maple trees for a stronger Japanese or faerie vibe
