You open the set of heavy oaken double doors to reveal a rectangular chamber. Fire burns in braziers on each end of the space, flanking another set of doors across the way and sending flickering lights to dance about the corners of the room. A pathway of red-checkered tiles leads to the far door. You can hear chanting from within.
Cultist Hideout
This map pack consists of 28 map variants of a cultist hideout, with both gridded and gridless versions. This map is designed to serve as the backdrop for a phased encounter, wherein players can attempt to stop a sect of cultists from completing a ritual that opens a portal to another realm. Alternatively, empty variants could be used as a dungeon. With 5 separate rooms in a 30x30 grid, this map provides enough space for a self-contained adventure, but egress options provide GMs the choice of expanding this map by connecting it to other dungeons.
