If there ever was a city of order and law it is Summercoast. The streets are wide and clean, evenly spaced, and numbered to make getting around easier. The locals point to this orderly life as the reason for the city’s prosperity, but outsiders say that the Summer River and safe anchorages in the bay are the true cause. The why might not matter much for the city is safe and secure, orderly and fair, and well defended by stout walls and a drawbridge over the river.
Such a safe, secure, and prosperous locale often has need of adventures, if for no other reason than to keep it so. The forest that begins across the river is wild and untamed, things the citizens of Summercoast fear and hate the most. What manner of threats will cause these complacent and lawful people to seek the chaos of bringing adventurers into their midst?
