Winter Maps Collection

Nine individual maps combine to create a single expansive scene

This set of nine individual winter-themed maps is so named as a collection because they can critically be combined to form series of continuous maps when used in sequential order. The whole collection is also included as a conveniently-compressed compilation image to form one mega map of 51x66 squares. See a guide of how the map breaks down here.

Themes of individual maps:

• Campsite: A set of 5 tents have been pitched around a smoldering fire, a partially-repaired wagon sits nearby.
• The Mill: A large mill casts a long shadow over the quiet road; the sound of the turning stone inside can be heard.
• Large Ruins: Several standing walls of stone lay a small ways from the road; a recent set of footprints meander about.
• Ice Fishing: A frozen pond features a distinct hole in its center and a set of tracks can be seen leading back to the farm.
• The Farm: A small, humble farm alongside the northern road; a wagon, well, and shed sit behind the home.
• Crossroads 1: A nondescript snowy crossroads with three options for forward travel; great for random encounters!
• Small Ruins: The ruins of a small hovel sit atop a rocky crag; the carcass of a recently dead horse is cast to the side of the road.
• Crossroads 2: A meandering road emerges from a small intersection to the east; rising elevation implies the nearness of mountains.
• Curved Trail: The road curves out of sight as larger rocky cliff faces climb upwards to the south--is that a trail between them?

Each map (individual scenes and the compilation) comes in variants with or without grids, daytime and nighttime scenes, as well as a wilderness variant where all of the manmade elements (farm, mill, campsite, etc.) have been removed to be more setting-agnostic if needed.
