Zalan Haseus is a knowledgeable sage best known for his many expeditions to ancient ruins throughout the realms. He is considered a pacifist but don't let that fool you. He is a formidable wizard skilled in the arts of deception through charms and illusions. It is said that he has overcome many powerful foe simply by causing them to face their own personal inner conflicts.

Seeking an audience with the famed Zalan Haseus is no easy task. Not only are there no windows or doors in his tower upon the hill, but his tower is shrouded in powerful magic to prevent intrusion. There is a way into the cellar of the tower but it can only be reached by passing through the abandoned mines. Unfortunately the mines have become infested with goblins!

This 5th edition adventure was designed for 4-5 characters of 4th to 5th level. The adventure takes approximately two to five sessions to complete. The adventure takes place in and around an old abandoned mine.
