Welcome to Battle Chess! Battle Chess is a variant of chess that incorporates the combat rules from the Fifth Edition of the world’s most popular roleplaying game (you know the one). This document includes rules for playing traditional chess as well as rules for Battle Chess.

In order to play, you will need to have at least a basic understanding of the Fifth Edition ruleset, particularly the Fifth Edition’s core rulebook for players as well as the main guide for monsters.

This add-on includes a Wooden, Metal, and Stone set with appropriately-styled pieces for each board. In addition, it includes checkers pieces for the appropriate boards as well.
