Independence Day is the first in the Chrono Crisis series of adventures for the Mutants & Masterminds Superhero Roleplaying Game. It is intended for power level 10 heroes but can be modified to suit higher or lower power level characters. The adventure uses concepts, material, and archetypes from the Time Traveler’s Codex sourcebook, and it is recommended that at least the Gamemaster have access to a copy for running this adventure.
Independence Day sees our heroes thrown backward in time, caught up in the pretentious chrono-artistic commentary of the future perfectionist Gaviel. They’ll have to lace up their Golden Age boots if they want to put an end to the anachronistic monkey business of a truly weird war and begin to unravel what will become a tangled mass of history’s threads.
