In the depths of Witchwoods lay hidden and buried in vines and dirt the ancient temples of chameleonfolk. These were their worshiping places, but since the Astral Conflict brought the world asunder, their peace was broken as other races found a reason to start expanding to their domains and territories. Stronger among these races were the lizardfolk, who found the chaos and despair of the Conflict to be the best chance to expand and conquer. Some say they are being driven by a deeper goal than just expansion and to further that goal they too need to bend the knee to a fearsome Hydra. Help does not come cheap after all.
Now that expansion has finally reached the edges of Witchwood and the few chameleonfolk villages that lived in peace until now, have felt the turmoil. Villagers are being abducted and held captive in the temples, digging the earth tirelessly for unknown reasons. Even the few remaining Couatl that were being worshiped by chameleonfolk seem to have disappeared too. There comes a time where even peaceful tribes have to push back when cornered and it seems that time is now.
Serpentine Song is a Fifth Edition one-shot adventure for a party at level 5 to 6. This adventure can be adapted to your own campaign, played as a one-shot, or be part of the Starlight Chronicles setting that connects everything made by Kelfecil's Tales.

This adventure can be played at any level by adjusting the number of monsters in it as well as their behavior. It has been made with Roll20 in mind and can therefore run very smoothly on this Virtual TableTop.
Install this Add-On via the dropdown menu in the Game Addons section of the Game Details Page. Select Bug Butchers and click on the blue Add to Game button beside the drop-down menu.
