8 Fantastic One-Shots!

Dungeon Vault One-Shots Vol. 4 contains eight 5e-adventure locations for three to six characters from 1st to 7th level. These adventures can easily be placed in any campaign setting. They aren't lineal and have no correlation between them. They're meant to be played as independent one-shots that take no longer than three to four hours.

Contents

The following list contains the titles of the eight short adventures included in this product:

1. The Equilibrium Apparatus (Level 1) - The heroes hear a crazy rumor. Avrana Daoffin, from a once-powerful elvish family, apparently made an incredible discovery. She has a device that can duplicate anything in the world. Is this possible?
2. Astral Hideout (Level 4) - Someone in danger contacts the characters. They need help tracking down pirates from the Astral Sea! The hideout is easy to find. Defeat the well-trained combatants, not so much...
3. The God Emperor's Vault (Level 6) - The heroes must become the heroes of the desert. The people and cities are divided, but an ancient tale says a magic specter can unify them all again. Giada, the court mage from a big city, knows more about this.
4. The Yellow Locust Cult (Level 3) - A noble's daughter has joined an evil cult! They must hack and slash their way through the enemy ranks to save her. The cult plans to summon a demon into this plane. Can the heroes stop them on time?
5. Order of the Ruby Masks (Level 6) - The ambition of Oskar Wilhelm drove him mad. With the ridiculous money he inherited, he created the Order of the Ruby Masks and became the leader of this criminal faction. The heroes must stop him. But when they witness the treasure that Oskar amassed, they might doubt of their intentions...
6. Ode to Greed (Level 2) - Sir Daneel Vark is gone. His daughter hires a group of heroes to find him. This mission takes them to a dilapidated elvish ruin. An artifact within this ancient place has the power to bend the will of the weak-minded. The knight fell victim to this, can the heroes help him and resist the artifact's evil?
7. Church of Lost Desires (Level 3) - This quest brings the heroes to the church of a tribe of snake people. They believe in an ancient god called Ouroboros. They can glimpse into the future with the help of their god. The characters may earn their favor and be allowed to do this, or they can fight the snakefolk to do it by force.
8. Hierarch's Sepulcher (Level 7) - The legendary sword Avacinna is found within Lord Heldast's resting place. The heroes must come to the sepulcher on the only day it opens, the anniversary of his death. To avoid leaving empty-handed, the heroes must prove they are worthy of the sword or somehow, negotiate with the lord's ghost.

Disclaimer

The adventures within this product were created during the time when the 5e SRD and the OGL were in danger of being revoked. As a result, we wrote these adventures using our own system, still in development. Monsters and pre-generated characters use D&D 5e statblocks. Though, the rules and phrasing of many things are different.

On March 2023, we made the big switch to Shadowdark RPG and our content has been consistent with that system ever since. However, for the reasons described above, this issue of our Dungeon Vault One-Shot series can be acquired for a reduced price compared to the others.
