This bundle's main content is are the three adventures, Heroes of High Fantasy: Creaking in the Dark, Heroes of High Fantasy: Greenskin Diplomacy, and Heroes of High Fantasy: Fires of War. Accompanying these three adventures is an additional add-on of five pre-generated level one characters for new adventurers who don't wish to create their own.
Heroes of High Fantasy are level variable side quests designed to be able to dropped into any adventure at most any level. They come with monsters and encounters for the most green adventurers to the most battle hardened.
The parties peaceful travel through a town is interrupted by a scream. Upon investigation of the sound they find that a young boy has been attacked near a cellar. With an obstinate inn keeper and a worried mother to contend with the party will be asked to brave the darkness and find what lurks in the depths beneath the inn.
The party joins up with an army, as new recruits or as mercenaries. They are met with cordial enough officers, though a few may rub them the wrong way. Whether or not they meet the army's prisoner they are in for a nasty surprise when her cult breaks her free and attempt to run rampant through the camp. Can the party survive the night attack on the ill fated army?
The party is awoken in night as the town they are resting in has come under attack by orcs! The Townsfolk are at the mercy or the greenskins, and must pray that the party of adventurers passing through take pity and intercede on their behalf. After the fight the party will be taken aside and asked to deal with the problem, offered a nice reward for doing so. Little to the party's knowledge there is more going on with the orcs than meets the eye.
The Creaking in the Dark and Greenskin Diplomacy come with fully generated encounters, tokens, and a fully drawn and populated map including dynamic lighting. Fires of War comes with all these things except the dynamic lighting as it's camp map is a battle mat style map, and isn't designed around vision blockers.
