We all find ourselves needing an inn or tavern for our sessions. They are, and remain, a stable of TTRPGs as they provide a wonderful way for your players to interact with varied NPCs, unwind after a long day of travel and adventuring, and get into all sorts of mischief.
If you're like me, I like my inns & taverns to be varied and unique, and that's why I built these four maps included in this bundle!
Inside this bundle, you will find a total of 4 different inns & tavern maps for you to use in your games.
The Wicker Goat: This large, two-story inn & tavern features a massive wicket statue of a goat to greet new visitors happily. The boards of the deck are made of reclaimed boat wood, and the out-buildings include a stables, a well, outhouses, and a storage shed. Inside you will find a main hall by a dwarven-built central hearth and four private rooms for secret conversations. On-lookers stare down at the revelry below from the upper level while the scent of fish stew comes from the kitchen in the back. The bar is stocked with all manner of drink, including three kegs of ale from the "Salty Dwarf Brewing Company". Upstairs you will find a number of rooms to rent, some of which include a small balcony to take in the fresh morning air.
The wicker goat is a 40x30 map with 4 color moods along with rain and fog options. There are 3 core maps in total for the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and roof levels.
The Knight's Inn: The Knight's Inn is nestled in the woods off a small road leading from the main highway. You are greeted by a large suit of animated armor that waves at newcomers and acts as security for anyone who might cause trouble. You will notice a bubbling cauldron cooking a hot stew on the central hearth and a lavish and fully stocked bar at the back. There are plenty of areas for drink and revelry, and the kitchen is sure to cook a hearty meal. Upstairs, you can enjoy some balcony seating and stay the night in the rustic and cozy rooms available.
The Knight's Inn is a 30x20 map with 6 color moods along with rain and fog options. There are 3 core maps in total for the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and roof levels.
Hidden Brothel: Looking for a Thieves Guild hangout? Need a place for those in the seedy underbelly of the town to drink? Look no further than the hidden brothel! With its secret entrance in the basement of an unassuming building above, your players will be greeted with extensive security and be forced to stow their weapons in the weapon cage. The mood shifts as you push back the red velvet curtains to be greeted with the scent of perfume, fresh fruit and flowers, and a haze of sweet-smelling. hookah smoke fills the room. Here you can relax, flirt, order drinks and food from the kitchen, book any one of the available rooms, or even relax in a floral bath and wash off all that adventuring.
The Hidden Brothel is a 30x30 map with 8 color moods to set the perfect tone for your game
The Wistful Way Inn & Tavern: The dark and ominous forest surrounding the Wistful Way makes even this dilapidated building look like a fortress. Looming high above is a four-story small inn that serves as a place of sanctuary from the crawling giant spiders and howling wolves in the surrounding woods. Here you will find simple accommodations, a basic meal, and, weather permitting, can order basic laundry service. Above the dining room and kitchen are three stories of rustic rooms for rent. The simplicity and cozy nature of this inn make it feel charming and safe, especially in contrast to the surrounding dark woods!
The Wistful Way is a 20x20 map with 5 color moods along with rain and fog options. There are 5 core maps in total for the 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor, and roof levels.
