The perfect one-shot or two-part mission to slip into an on-going campaign, or to show new players the ropes, Shadowsnap's Keep is designed to be friendly for the beginner player or dungeon master. The perfect mission for a player or Game Master who is new to Roll20, or new to running games.
Created specifically for Roll20, Shadowsnap's Keep has advice for setting up Roll20 for your players, and for running your first Dungeons and Dragons game. Included in the module are several pre-generated characters which make setting up character sheets easy for new players. Of course, you are always welcome to make your own characters to face Shadowsnap!
The run time of the game is about 6-8 hours total, and there is a solid stopping point halfway through the mission so it can easily be broken into two missions. Shadowsnap's Keep includes dynamic lighting, doors implemented using Roll20, art assets for all pre-generated characters and for all enemies. There are a variety of gnolls with original statblocks which offer a variety of challenges with automated rolls and character sheets. The adventure contains three magic items with art for players to find, or which can be used in other games, and a custom background for dungeon delvers. The game also includes bonus Token Markers for tracking status effects, and spell templates to represent epic explosions, lightning bolts, and areas of entangling overgrowth.
