This Package Includes:

This 3 in 1 package is a collection of volcanic themed maps.

This map pack is two-fold: you get standard custom made maps and modular terrain maps that can be seamlessly stacked together.
There are 72 standard maps (20x20), each four can be combined into a larger (40x40) map depending on your needs for a small or a larger scene.
Modular maps comprise of 11 different pieces (25x25) that can be used to create custom maps in the same terrain style. There are also 3 transparent images of crystals, so the GM can place them when and where needed. All of the above is recolored into three different visual themes: Lava, Cryo and radioactive/Toxic.

Standard maps depict a rocky wasteland ravaged by volcanic activity dotted with impact craters, crystal growths and rivers of lava. They can be used for both sci-fi and fantasy campaigns.

Whether your players are exploring a dangerous volcanic planet searching for valuable and rare minerals or are on a dangerous expedition into the infernal plane to retrieve an ancient soul-crystal, this map pack will provide you with ample material to create a variety of scenes and battle encounters. Rivers of lava, volcanos, crystal fields, ashen roads, bridge crossings and even lakes of molten metal is what you will find in this collection. If you want you can swap any lava map with cryo or radioactive one. Have the Arch Devil use his immense powers to make the battlefield suddenly change mid-fight or show an effect that careless poking of a strange alien terraforming artefact can have on the whole planet. Have your dwarven players discover a whole river of molten iron, completely free for the taking, only to have it heat up into a river of lava right under their greedy little feet. Have your evil villain kidnap one of your players girlfriend to lure them into fighting on a small platform moving down a lava river only to retreat into high ground and provoke them into making that dangerous jumping attack they are 'absolutely sure' they can pull off with their min-maxed stats and epic-level gear. Or maybe you want to airdrop them into a deadly battlefield on a radioactive planet to fight against the alien menace? With this map pack you can do that and more.

The second part of this package contains modular terrain maps. They are designed so that the GM can quickly prepare encounters or various scenes not covered by the custom maps. They are 25x25 each and so will fit a newly created scene, just make a new page and drop them in. So whenever your players randomly decide that this one npc travelling with them is 'non-essential' and has valuable items that could be better used by the party members you can make a battle map in seconds.
They also can be stacked next to each other (if not rotated) to make larger maps. This can be used for many things, for example: to create a large field of flat terrain for a colony scene or a road flanked by craters for an ambush encounter. Some of the modular maps have two versions - normal and filled with lava. You can make a dormant volcano that goes live during a fight for example. Just put one map over the other, hiding the active one in the GM layer. All the modular ground maps can be seamlessly stacked with each other. The lava, molten metal and solidified metal maps can be seamlessly stacked with themselves only. Theoretically you can expand your map infinitely in this way, so that one player who plays a sharpshooter and refuses to start any fight from a distance below 300 feet will finally be happy.

This package contains:
-Battle Terrains: Lava World
-Battle Terrains: Toxic World
-Battle Terrains: Cryo World

Each of these contain:
-72 custom 20x20 maps (that can be combined into 18 large 40x40 maps),
-11 modular 25x25 maps,
-3 objects (crystals),

Custom maps are named in a way that makes putting them together easier. Each custom map has in its filename a number that identifies which large map it is a part of and a capital letter followed by a number that marks its position in the large map. A1 and A2 maps go above the maps with B1 and B2. A1 and B1 go on the left and A2 and B2 on the right. The infographic above helps to visualize this system.

Enjoy!
