In the western foothills of The Para's lies the picturesque town of Montalla. It is built into the mountain and originated around a small mine, long ago. These days it is known for it's well-trained mercenaries. Recently a group of adventurers has purchased the mine and starting mining again, but no one known what for.
Watvalla is one of the larger towns in Knurden, larger even than the capital "city" Sturdjal. Watvalla is home to the Lord of the Central Fjords who holds both a lot of political and military power.
Mystdal is an old castle town that has always watched the northern borders of the kingdom of Rasfadal. During the War of the Vale it has fallen to the Archduchy of Sovar. Now the bishop of Fern is seeking to retake this old settlement.
The most northern city of Sovar is the city of Sabras, at the mouth of the Dehr river. It's an important trade port on the east coast of Wordal and provides a great and consistent income for those who control it.
