Once a respected botanist, Daniel de Lyon, has slowly turned into a recluse rejected by the local academia because of his radical theories on using fungal cells to repair normal living tissue and nerves. After a fumbled public demonstration he has become a target of ridicule and his claims of immortality achieved by transferring a persons consciousness to a vat grown plant-based body have been dismissed as psychotic hallucinations.
But little do they know. Dr. de Lyon, has succeeded to create something in his terrible experiments. It might have not been what he was trying to achieve, but he is sure it will change the world. He is going to make sure of it...
