Our heroes are in the middle of a battle within a dungeon, holding the upper hand against their enemy; victory seems certain. But just as the fight is about to end, the enemy raises his hands and chants a spell in a language none of the heroes recognize. A burst of light surrounds them, and in an instant, the ground vanishes beneath their feet.
When they open their eyes, there is no dungeon, no ruins, no sky. Only an endless void where massive stone cubes float in silence. Some rotate slowly, others remain still, all carved with markings that glow with a faint light.
The air is silent, without wind or echo. Each cube hovers at a different height, sometimes separated by several meters. There are no paths, no bridges.
On one of the largest cubes, the sorcerer watches them, smiling. His voice echoes in every direction, distorted by the void. He tells them this place is his creation, a space between worlds, a labyrinth where gravity no longer follows the rules of reality.
If they wish to return, they must destroy him here, within his own domain. But every move is a risk, every leap a possible fall into the endless abyss.
Their goal is clear: defeat the sorcerer and break the spell that binds them. Yet the place itself seems to have a will of its own. And the longer they remain here, the more they feel something within the carvings watching them… and learning from them.
