Outpost of Nilou

In the middle of Civilization’s End lies the Outpost of Nilou, a large village that once began as a temporary fort. It was sometime during the centuries in which Burbry lost its influence over the coastal regions that the fort was constructed. Its purpose was to provide the Burbric army with a base from which it could organize the defense of the borderlands. The wars continued, however, and the temporary fort slowly transformed into a permanent settlement. By the time the borders had stabilized, it had stood long enough to attract farmers, smiths, and craftsmen who had settled there permanently. Nilou had become a village with a military core.
