City Assault [Phased]

It's a calm, quiet morning. The kind of morning where the air is damp and the dew still sticks to the plants. Guards meander back and forth along the walls, going through their daily routines, lazily looking out for any potential threats. A thick fog has rolled in along the outer walls, masking the approach of an enemy ship that's fast approaching. It suddenly bursts out from the fog bag, smashing through one of the canals gates as it unleashes hellfire upon the surprised population. Before the guards are even able to scramble and raise a proper defense, the ship is already crashing into the marketplace, unloading troops that are eager to fight.
