Greetings, adventurer!

While in one of the old Thalmyr woods, the adventurers found the ruined church.

"Outsiders weren't welcome", their guide would say, but the weight of the coin purse had something to do with his decision. He instructed them to follow his footsteps exactly and to keep the pace. Canopies made thick shade on the forest floor, and the air was sweet and dense. After several hours and a few minor delays, they found the ruins. "Here it is. Go back as you came here," the small, lean man said before vanishing into the bushes. They knew he had betrayed them for half the coin they had paid him. If they work quickly, they will find the first portal a man-made magic ever created, and it will take them home from this unfamiliar and unfriendly place.
