The castle ruins stand before you, a grim collection of ancient towers and crumbling walls whose shadows linger still even in the rays of the sun. Here, rumors abound, vampire lords, mad scientists, beastly creatures. Only the fog that swarms the cold stone knows the truth. If you seek adventure, enter now, for the evil things that lurk are loath to appear beneath the sun, however, linger too long and one might find the castle sheds its veneer of safety once darkness falls.

This gothic castle rises five levels and is topped by a noble's long abandoned room, ransacked and left for the spiders, while across the gulf of open air stands the experiment tower, where nefarious scientists once worked to create unholy abominations.

From the courtyard one is surrounded by the keep, the chapel, the garrison, the stables, and the service quarter.

Then, descend beneath the courtyard, down to the castle kitchen, wine room, crypt, and dungeon. Finally delve below, by drain or well, into the sewer or the underground lake that feeds the castle its lifegiving water. But then why do the waters stir so?
