A collection of 25 fantastic taverns and inns that can be used in fantasy rpg settings. Each tavern's design is informed by a central theme, whether it is "local watering hole" or "upscale bar". Each one is unique and has its own style, architecture, and decor! This variety in the taverns, coupled with the detailed interiors and architecturally sound structure, will have your players scouring the map and drinking in details.
1. The Menagerie Bar (28x23): A local watering hole with an arcade garden and indoor hookah room. Featuring ex-pirate grey parrots in the namesake menagerie by the bar.
2. The Drunk Huntress (40x30): A seaside tavern that is also a local favorite among hunters and fishers alike. A rustic, carpeted, and cozy two-level tavern with an overlook balcony.
3. The Abattoir (Lower Floor 56x36), (Upper Floor 47x32): A slick, seemingly modern, fantasy nightclub and lounge with moody interior lighting and luxurious private rooms. Vampire-themed and ready to rock with an inbuilt stage and dance floor. The second floor features offices and an opulent, moody private rooms with areas for dancers.
4. House of Wine (24x36): Verdant and opulent without being ostentatious. The lower floor features a bar, seating areas, a stage and dance floor. Vines, leaves, and integrated garden-like themes are present across the two stories. The second story features seating, an overlooking rotunda, and private hookah rooms.
5. The Saltfish (25x25): A rustic, humble local watering hold with an interior grill and a small kitchen. The interesting architecture gives themes of Village and Coast.
6. The Hearth Shield Inn (Ground Floor 36x28), (Cellar 18x29): A well-built dwarven inn that has an upper level filled with cozy, rustic stonework and a large, busy kitchen. Descending a level down will show the private rooms for rest and sleeping, complete with cozy dwarven decor.
7. The Hanged Elf Tavern (26x28): A local village inn situated in a snowy elven forest. The tavern hangs over the edge of a cliff with a dining room that has a view of the expansive forest. The rustic wooden decor and well-built furniture evokes mountain village.
8. The Crown (53x46): An opulent, ostentatious, and wholly luxurious rooftop casino situated at the top of a tower hotel. Need I say more? The Crown is luxury's apex and features all-new assets by Grey Moon Tabletop showing a casino, bar, gambling, and private rooms with moody interior lighting.
9. The Cozy Cauldron (25x25): The name says it all here. An autumn-themed village tavern with a fire pit and plenty of village amenities such as food, kitschy decor, and a pumpkin-lined patio.
10. The Garden (Lower/Upper Floor 36x34), (Cellar 25x18): A verdant two-story bordello set in a desert city. Features baths, a beautiful bar, and themed bordello rooms for any private performances and meetings.
11. The Saffron Hotel Royal Suite (36x30): This "inn" is a luxurious hotel suite modeled off the Hyatt in Dubai. Features 4 bespoke rooms and 2 wrap-around balconies, this suite evoked luxury, class, and elegance.
12. Bandit Camp (40x30): Bandits have to drink too! This camp features a fortified trade road where merchants can rest, drink, and swap stories. The building is rustic and spartan, but the decor and atmosphere really situate the eye into the scene.
13. The Cardamom Carpet Tavern (25x25): This is a beautifully embellished desert dive bar. Don't be fooled by the pleasant name; the bar is rough and the drink is strong.
14. Crossroads Taverna (30x27): Inspired by Eastern fantasy, this taverna is a rustic village tavern drawn straight from the set of a wuxia film. Cherry trees, pillowed seating, and a bar/eating table in one.
15. Hotel Penthouse (22x18): Another "inn" for players to stay at. This is a luxurious penthouse situated in a tower hotel. The interior is expensive and themed white and black for class. The outdoor balcony views the entire city from above.
16. Black Scimitar Tavern (23x29): Situated at a desert gateway, this tavern is the last stop between two major cities, the desert between. The interior courtyard is open while the crowded rooms definitely show that this place is a hot spot. Hectic, not cozy.
17. The Canted Cable Tavern (32x38): A city tavern for working class folk. This tavern is built into the side of a warehouse where illicit deals with urban gangs take place.
18. The Cafe Caylon: This "tavern" is a cute Parisian-style cafe where people meet for breakfast and brunch. Features a bakery and well-maintained kitchen.
19. Crystal Tower Hotel Suite: This suite contains a meeting / living room, an overlook rounded balcony, and a beautifully laid out bedroom, study, and bath. Definitely not for the faint of wallet.
20. The Wisteria Inn (22x29): Another Eastern fantasy-inspired inn, featuring straw mats, beautiful wooden interiors, a cozy kitchen, and private rooms for rest. This enclosed space draws on the idea of nature and harmony. The courtyard features a zen garden and a shrine.
21. The Twilight Mezzanine (41x39): This restaurant and bar is noir-themed and carries a moody, jazzy vibe. The elegant blue couches and seats; the rich, dark wooden interior; even the stage is centered to draw attention to the star singer for this lounge. The Twilight Mezzanine is quintessential to any setting inspired by the Interwar period.
22. Mountain Tavern (26x26): A "traditional fantasy" tavern set in a snowy, mountainous area. The tavern and inn are situated sidelong in this sleepy mountain town and has all the essentials to portray a rustic, rugged vibe. Great for resting out without too much of a fuss, while the cozy interiors will keep your adventurers warm from the outdoor chill.
23. The Vermillion Bar (27x17): Another jazzy, noir-setting bar, though much more intimate than the Twilight Mezzanine. This bar oozes class with its red and black interiors, extensive bar, and centered lounge piano and stage. Great for meeting fixers and observing the local scene.
24. The Varka Bar (25x27): An urban bar with an outdoor patio for dining and drinking. The Interiors are intimate and wooden, reflecting the sentiments of a modern tavern. The string lanterns give a cozy, yet refined city vibe.
25. The Firebird Tavern (21x19): A tavern built by the lucky legends of the Slavic firebird myth. This is a local bar, an intimate venue with cozy vibes and shared tables for drink, gossip, and food.
