Bone Throne

Bone Throne is a vast and oppressive throne room built on fear, ritual, and the memory of countless sacrifices. Bone piles and shattered remains coat the floor, while bronze skull statues glare from the corners like silent judges. Towering steps rise to a central dais where three thrones made entirely of bone await the next rulers bold enough to claim them. Hundreds of candles cast twisting shadows across the chamber, and those atop the dais burn with an unsettling purple flame.
Whether your party has entered an undead court, uncovered the last echo of a fallen kingdom, or intruded upon a dark and ancient power, this map offers the perfect setting for intimidation, intrigue, and dread.

Variants
• Main Map (Day and Night): A monumental throne chamber shaped from bone and bronze. The day version provides a clearer and colder view of the structure, while the night version is lit entirely by candlelight for full atmospheric dread.
• Green Light: All candle flames glow an unnatural green, covering the chamber in a sickly magical light.
• Cold Fog: Aqua flames flicker across the room as a low white mist creeps along the floor, partially hiding the bones beneath it.
• Aqua Light: The lower floor is illuminated with aqua flames while the dais glows in warm yellow light. The separation creates a clear visual divide between ruler and room.
• Ancient Floor: The tiled flooring is cracked, moss covered, and worn by age and neglect. Dust and decay hint at a throne room long abandoned.
• Will o Wisp: Ghostly lights drift through the chamber, floating over the bones like lingering spirits of the dead.
• Red Light: All candles burn bright red, casting harsh light and long bleeding shadows across every surface.
• White Light: Pure white candlelight fills the chamber with a cold and reverent glow, like a chapel built to honour the dead.
• Four Corners: Each corner of the chamber is lit by a different colour flame, dividing the room into four distinct quadrants and creating unsettling symmetry.
