Whether you are role-playing in a grim-dark sci-fi universe or a space fantasy setting, the swarm devours all.
This is… Sergeant Varo, 3rd Company… anyone still listening, copy this down. We thought it was just rock. A drifting world, nothing more. Command said it was routine. Then it moved. Fast. Fleet went in. Didn’t come back. That was our warning, but no one wanted to hear it. When they hit us… god. The noises they make. Horrible hissing, chittering, madness. They came crawling, leaping. Not beasts. Not machines. Something worse. They swarmed the trenches like a tide over the walls. We fired until the barrels burned red, and it didn’t matter. They just kept coming. I watched Cazka vanish under a dozen claws. Tank’s armor cracked like a tin can. They didn’t even eat the bodies, they shredded them apart, kept moving. No malice. No mercy. Just hunger made flesh. I’ve taken a wound. I felt something crawling inside me. God! The pain. I kept stabbing. Cutting until it stopped. Now I can’t walk. The air stinks of acid and smoke. It’s so hard to breathe. Hard to think. If anyone finds this, don’t fight them! Run! Burn the ground behind you and pray it slows them!
They’re coming!
They’re coming!
They’re coming!
They’re coming.
They’re coming.
The intergalactic swarm is a threat to all life. Rumored to have arrived from outside the known galaxy, these malevolent aliens travel by hitching a ride on pre-existing space debris or parasitically attaching themselves to large animals capable of unaided space-fight. Like a swarm of fire ants forming a raft of living creatures to cross water, the swarm forms tentacles, reaching through space to grasp onto anything. They engulf entire planets and scour them free of life, consuming everything. There is no known way to stop them. Every war tactic used thus far has only served to delay, to redirect. Their numbers are so incalculably great that to hope to eradicate them is madness. The swarm learns. The swarm adapts. The swarm overcomes. The swarm consumes. They are coming.
In this art pack you will find some of the sub-species of the swarm including drones, soldiers, winged drones and even a scout bioform, their deadly arsenal of parasite-launching weapons.
Thank you for taking interest in this token pack. I’ve once again made bad-guys for your players to face. I hope you will enjoy using them in your games. Don’t forget to make your players uncomfortable by describing how the bullets that the guns launch, wiggle and writhe inside their character’s body because they are eating them alive.
As always, I recommend you to follow me on my socials and join my Patreon. Sometimes I put stuff up there for free. There is a free sample of this set available there as well for a limited time.
