Deep in a mountainous region, a vast snowy forest stretches as far as the eye can see. A single straight road runs along the base of a steep mountain—it's the only safe path. In the distance, there is only snow, trees, and disorientation. The winds are freezing, and the cold bites at the skin like blades.
Our heroes are traveling through this harsh region after several days on the road. Most of their supplies are gone, and recent storms have made other routes impassable. Their only option is to follow the path without straying, trusting it will lead them to the next village—a place where they can find shelter, warmth, food, and rest.
But even on the safe path, winter is a relentless enemy… and not all dangers in this forest are natural.
