Whether you are role-playing in a grim-dark sci-fi universe or a space fantasy setting, these alien space pirates will make life difficult for all.

"It was harvest day on the planet below, a cultural celebration to mark the end of the growing season. The happy colonists engaged in games of skill and chance, eating fruits, exchanging baked goods and several animals were put on display. The people’s leaders were proud of what they had managed to achieve this year and the colony’s pride and joy, the communal spaceship shone with a freshly painted new mural to inspire them all for a better tomorrow. Then suddenly it lost its luster as a shadow fell over the happy gathering. The colonists looked upwards and saw to their horror that it was not a passing cloud briefly obscuring their sun but the jagged dark shape of an enemy spaceship. Panic gripped them, food was dropped, drinks spilled and carts overturned in their owners’ haste to run away. Then the buzzing sound of teleporting enemies and the keening of flying projectiles drowned out all. The people did not stand a chance as razor bullets whistled through the air, acid and gas grenades exploded, herding the panicking crowd like sheep into the incapacitating and intoxicating clouds of vapour. The pirates secured plenty of goods and people that day. It was a good harvest indeed."

There are many socio-political as well as astro-geographical reasons for piracy in the known galaxy including but not limited to political instability, corruption, remote access of some systems to intergalactic trade, lack of security. Indeed some council members of the Intergalactic Federation of Star Systems’ parliament have even dared to suggest that some species and cultures are “more prone to piracy”. Not in the case of these people.
These alien space pirates do it all for fun and profit. They extract joy from causing misery, and view piracy and violence as the ultimate way to stave off boredom. As members of a long lived alien specie, while most of their people devote their time and effort towards self improvement, art and philosophical contemplation, these degenerated members of the elven empire use their longevity as an excuse to engage in debauchery, torture and the depravity of blood-sport. The technology they bring to the battlefield, while considered outdated by their own standards, is very advanced by the standards of others and seems to have been purposefully developed to cause fear and demoralize targets. As remnants of a bygone age during which the star elves knew terror warfare, these pirates often deployed it against peaceful civilians with the intent to cause their surrender. The victims are then sold to the galaxy’s many barbaric coliseums and arenas or simply disappear forever. The elven empire has tried hard to curb such behavior, increasing patrols on the border of elven space and in some cases even hiring or sanctioning pirate-hunting expeditions, but their efforts so far have been in vain as the pirate hunters are always one step behind their quarry.

These are the Alien Space Pirates. Sadistic, debaucherous mercenaries to pit against your players, or perhaps the best excuse to have an “all-murder-hobo” party. In this art pack you will find:

Thank you for taking interest in this token pack. Once again I’ve brought you some bad guys to add to your campaign but unlike my previous set of aliens this one is a lot more uniform and a lot more toned down by comparison. These tokens can easily serve as a mercenary band or a disorganized military, but their aesthetic is clearly “evil”.
