This mountainside is constantly frigid, as subzero winds are funneled through the gorge. This has frozen the river solid and blown away much of the snow on the lower parts of the mountain, but even the wind is no match for the cold near the peak.
This is a great map for an ambush or a rescue mission, needing the party to work out their climbing skills as they move higher or lower throughout the map.
