Description
This bundle pack includes grid and gridless 40 x 30 maps with day, night, embattled and greyscale variants. You can grab an animated version here. The entrance to an island temple, this bridge spans a fast-flowing river below, and connects the island with the town beyond. Adorned with extravagant trimmings and concealed fortifications, the bridge leads from blossom trees at the edge of town to the initial steps to the temple, a snaking mist rising up from the rocks beneath. One way in and out, but do its arcane defences take account of potential climbers on the rocks or gliders landing from above?
Encounter Hook
The temple across this bridge has been infiltrated, a passionate deconsecration taking place that might alter the faith of the local populace immeasurably. Tasked with interrupting this blasphemous attack, the party must first find a way onto the temple grounds. The only bridge across, however, is being defended by zealous forces who will fight with fervour to ensure their kin complete the desecration and gain revenge for what they claim were the unforgiving acts of the worshippers of the temple. How will the party gain entry, or will it end up siding with the attackers?
