In the rocky foothills of the Domart Mountains, on the edge of a steep, grey cliff lies the village of Graklyf. The castle guards the serpentine road that leads from the main valley to the Thickets of Val on the plateau of Grak, a barren woodland on the southern borders of The Fendalian Great Vale.
