The Daughter’s Last Dance was not merely a ship but the embodiment of fear and death. It moved with an almost unnatural grace, seemingly following Quartez's commands without fail. This spectral ship struck terror into the hearts of his foes, becoming the linchpin in his expansion across the continent. Its presence on the horizon was a harbinger of doom, and many a fortress and village fell before its might.
This ship is infamous for its dark history and the tragic tale of Quartez's daughter, whose kidnapping and murder by Minotaur slavers spurred Quartez on a path of vengeance. Quartez sailed to the unmapped shores of Kandari, setting in motion events that would change the continent forever. Through patient manipulation of the less advanced humans, he amassed a deadly army and began a century-long genocide of all fey creatures.
Quartez’s reign of terror finally met its end in the frozen tundra of Mino'tarus in a cataclysmic battle against the fearsome Lord Commander Dious Ragor of the Order of the Black Lily. This event unleashed the timeless freeze, turning the region into a frozen tundra. This punishment, wrought by the wrath of the gods who watched over Kandari and her creatures, ensured that Quartez and his ship would remain haunted for eternity, their spectral forms bound to the Daughter’s Last Dance, never able to step foot on the land of Kandari ever again.
