Meteor Crater

The vegetation here is plagued with rampant crystals of changing color, sometimes sky blue, sometimes angered red or caustic green. A deafening silence has fallen on the pine trees. No bird sings, no bee buzzes, no doe softly runs away amidst the low branches. Yet, you can feel a discomforting presence all around you. As if something was there. Everywhere. In the dirt you tread on, in the shadows you see, in the air you breathe… Something menacing yet invisible, something otherworldly yet very close.

• Extraterrestrial rust — A golden light burns bright in the heart of the wood. You can almost hear it calling to you ! You must answer its plea !
• Dug out — Somebody - or something - dug out the meteorite and carried it to some remote hideout... maybe for good, but probably for the worse !
• Sickened star — An unearthly glow lingers through the forest, lighting the woods in an eery yet strangely appealing light.
• Astral fallout — The fallen star emits an eerily yet calming blue light, covering the trees and underbrush in an alien aura.
• Alien growth — Strange fleshy growths sprout from the fallen meteor, slowly creeping towards the woods and its inhabitants.
• Blood moon — A menacing red glow shines through the pine wood. It comes from a crater, still fuming in the middle of the devastated forest.
