Camp at night

Crickets chirp in the distance as fireflies roam in the cold night. A dense fog rises from the underwood as shreds of milky mist hang in the dessicated trees. You huddle together around the dancing flame wavering in the dark. As you try to cheer yourself up, you cannot but hear hostile murmurs going louder behind the creeping fog. Your mind projects visions of hungry wolves hiding in the shadows, glowing eyes staring at you and crawling legs in the thicket. You will soon understand why you should fear the night.

Cloudy — Heavy clouds gather above the woods. Rain is not far. You should take advantage of this momentary abatement !
Night — The peaceful night is interrupted by a low growl in the underbrush. It's probably another pack of wolves. Or at least you surely hope so !
Foggy — A thick fog covers your campfire, as you huddle around the embers for warmth. All matters of frightening sounds echo from the mists. You grab your weapons and then...
Dread — Travelling through these inhospitable woods was not your best idea... but you had to for the contract nonetheless. It's like the sun never truly shines in these dreadful domains. And the nights are somehow even worse !
Fey — Glistening lights dance around your campfire as all sorts of strange beings advance towards you. Don't worry : they are pacific. Right ?
Swamp — A fetid scent lingers in the humid air of the swamp. With great difficulty, you managed to find just enough dry wood for a fire. Now, the marshes echo with the feral cries of strange creatures. Some are definitely frightened by the burning glow of the campfire, others seem to be attracted to it... Tonight, you'll keep a watchful eye on the woods.
