Ghostlight Lake

Betwixt their placid ripples, the still waters reflect celestial imagery beyond any comprehension. The stars dance and swirl in an undecipherable pattern, aligning, alterning and colliding, projecting a myriad lights onto the cavern's face. A peculiar tree, with crystalline branches and leaves, grows on the middle of a small island, barely above the lake's surface. It projects a ghostly, unnerving, yet alluring light throughout the nearby tunnels. It compels you. You have to approach it. To study it. With that only thought gnawing at the back your mind, you dip one foot in the starlit, cold, waters of the Beyond.

Celestial Dew — Cold stars far and bright shine upon the lake's mystical waters, like an opened window beyond the void. Here lies the tree you were seeking for months, and the very fruits you've been coveting. Let's hope that their properties are on par with what was written in your grimoires.
Creeping Growth — An alien parasite, nurtured by the waters' minerals, grew hidden in this cave for decades. Now, as its mass extends and dilates, it gets ready to venture into the exterior world.
Crystal Formation — Shimmering crystals, bright with arcane energy, sprout from the ground on the island in the middle of the lake.
Seeping Abyss — The air is heavy with a strange corruption, clouding your mind and darkening the light of your torch. Something is not right ! Stay vigilant !
Bloody Waters — The red waters hint at the cave's darker past.
Cristalline Tree — A strange growth of cristalline nature strongly resembling a plant grows on the island.
Forgotten Cove — Deep beneath the druids' cove lays this hidden cave. It is said that someone partaking of its waters shall live eternally. But beware its defenses !
Tear in the Veil — With thunderous lightning and a crashing bang, the fabric of reality was tore apart. The portal is open... for now !
