Spellbound Burrows

The silent tunnels only echo the skittering of tiny feet moving in unison on rare intervals. It's almost... musical. Your last torch is slowly running out as the last embers of light dissipate in the still air. The mesmerizing glow of the strange mushrooms growing from the cave walls will soon be your only source of light. The only thing separating you from total, empty darkness. It won't impede their sight : they are well accustomed to the dark. Nevertheless that thought, maybe it would be a blessing for you : you won't be able to see what happens to the comrades standing next to you. That would be one less thing haunting you forever... if you survive this mission.

River — A subterranean river roars as its rapids crash against the borders of the cave. Should anybody (or anything) fall in, they will surely be carried away and never seen again !
Spirits — The grey silhouettes of the revenants slither past the rock formations in a hush. Dozens and dozens of spirits, hiding in the shifting fog, murmur along your path.
Tunnels — The dimly lit tunnels descend into the bowels of the earth, under the protective caps of gigantic and colorful mushrooms.
Webs — Every solid surface is covered in a thick layer of sticky web. The sound of a thousand tiny claws skittering behind their veil can be heard, echoing in the distance. With trembling hands, you light up your last torch and press on.
Bewitched — A bright, purple liquid rushes between the stalagmites. The air is thick with magic. Some devilish plot is afoot !
Acid fire — A malevolent green hue shines over the chasm. Burning acid flows down towards the heart of the caverns. Where does this neverending supply of pain pours from ? And where will it lead you ?
Icy fire — A cold, blue flame burns bright at the bottom of the chasm. You are approaching the lair of an ancient winter dragon !
Lava — Burning magma slowly creeps up towards the bottom of the tunnels. Be careful : getting close to the edge is enough to set most of your belongings on fire !
