Widow's Howling Bridge

Twelve kilometers south of the city of Kravikk lays the silent village of Thurgowost. Cestmir Vargol, the local burgomaster, always tried to keep safe the citizens under his protection. The village was but a small hamlet though, and his means were few. Being the sole community guarding the main road to Kravikk and watching over the only bridge on the river Yarig, the problems were many. Bandits attacked convoys trying to pass the Yarig on a daily basis. When the bandits did not attack, it meant they were decimated by some horde of monsters.

Dawnbreak — A radiant sun illuminates the horizon with its rays.
Morning — A pale, timid light crests over the faraway mountains.
Night — A starlit night enshrouds in obscurity the bridge over the roaring waters.
Cageless — The cages used to pass the death sentences from the local bailiff were taken away.
Murky — Green, sickening algae have taken over the water and the nearby forest.
Sanguine — A dark red algae is spreading in the water and air, enshrouding the whole bridge in a bloody aura.
