Whether you are a hero or a villain assembling an army, the Host of War will lend its swords to whoever pays the most.

The hobgoblin clan was nothing but a ragtag group of bandits living in the marshes, until they met the apex predator of the land, Cherulek the back.
Fearing their destruction the hobgoblins made a bargain, in return for their service, they would be spared from the dragon’s wrath.

Now, years later, the black dragon clan has prospered under their new leader. Armed with sharp, elegant swords and clad in fine armor, they use the dragon’s tactics in war. Known as some of the most ruthless and merciless mercenaries for hire, they offer their services to the highest bidder. The more gold they earn, the more their draconic leader rewards them.

In this pack you will find a hobgoblin war host.

Archers. Vicious and precise.
Swordsmen. Hardened in battle.
Bannermen. Hoisting the flag and shouting the orders.
Spearmen. The hardest workers.
Mages. Gifted with the Dragon’s Magic.
Assassins. Some battles are won before they even begin.
Auxiliaries. The clan managed to convince several ogres and Ettin to fight.

Combine this pack with any of my previous ones to make a more unique experience for your players. Perhaps the hobgoblins could temporarily work for the lich in his dead army or serve more demonic masters from the dark force. They could augment their war host with some feral orc raiders to crush the guards of the realm.
