The frigid snow eats at your skin, gnawing and lashing at your face. You can barely press on the road by this winter. Alas you must keep on. Each hour you lose is an hour your enemies gain on you. When finally you stumble upon wagon tracks in the snow, you hope for a friendly soul on these desolated roads. Sadly, it appears they met their unfortunate end on this very path. Broken fences and scattered bits of wood, half buried by the snow already, hints that whoever accompanied this cart, was taken to the woods. Will you follow the tracks ?
Dimensions : 30x40 ; PPI : 100
* No tracks — Nothing remains of the attackers or the wagon's occupants. It seems the accident happened some time ago now... The chances to find any survivors must be quite low...
* Blood — Blood maculates the vestiges of the broken cart. Whatever transpired here must have been quite the brutal encounter.
* Bandits — You can see the inprint of boots in the snow. A LOT of them, scattered around the wagon. Could there be some camp nearby ? You must investigate !
* Wolves — Animal tracks lead towards the nearby woods. Dire wolves, from what your ranger can gather. Is it prudent to follow them ?
* Cold crystals — Strange crystal sprout from the earth. A cold aura surrounds them, freezing everything that comes even close from them, and instantly turning to ice any flesh touching them. What kind of creature could do such a thing ? What strange spell may have brought these into existence ?
* Night — A cold, dark night covers the road.
* Blizzard — A reckless blizzard bites your face as you try to advance. No time to find shelter : strange noises can be heard in the background. And they are getting closer. You MUST press on !
* Fey lights — What peculiar dimension did you stumble in, for the ice to emit such strange lights ?
* Turquoise — Ghostly lights shine above your head, covering everything in a sickening green haze.
