As you make your way through the cavernous gullet, you can hear acid dripping from the cold stone roof above your head. Plink. Plink... You were surely expecting some amount of peril when you threw yourself in that earthly maw, but you were far from reality. Everything in here is a lethal danger, from the caustic pools to the deadly drops reaching deep in the bowels of the Earth. Although these may not be the last of your troubles, as you hear something rattling ahead, like the sound of thousands of tiny feet rushing on the exposed stone...

* Acid pools — Acid bubbles burst at the surface of the corrosive lakes. What creatures could have left these in its wake ?
* Frozen pools — The frozen rocks have cracked, revealing bone chilling fumes that fill the cave's air with a sickening cold.
* Lava pools — The temperature is almost unbearable. You uselessly wash the sweat of your tired brow with a quick movement of your arm. The beast must not be far now. At least you hope so !
* Magic fog — A strange haze of arcanic origin lingers in the air. It reacts with your own magic in a concerning way. Should you experiment more ?
* Weird mushrooms — Giant mushrooms grow at the bottom of the cave system, projecting mesmerizing lights on the damp walls all around them.
